RM&CO, founded in 2013, by Pete Rossi (Young Guns 9) and Alfio Mazzei is an independent, award winning, multi-disciplinary graphic design, visual communication and branding consultancy with studios based in the UK and Switzerland.

We are firm believers in pushing boundaries, but our meticulous approach, based on research and development allows us to serve our client’s purpose with passion, detail, dedication and love to find the right and relevant solutions to a wide variety of projects and commissions.

RM&CO have been awarded and recognised by ADC, Creative Review (The Annual), Communication Arts, Design Week, D&AD, Cannes Lions, Graphis and Red Dot. In 2018 RM&CO established the bespoke type foundry RM&TYPE.


Pete Rossi

Pete Rossi was born just outside Glasgow, Scotland in 1981 to an Italian father and Scottish mother. He went on to graduate with a 1st from the Glasgow School of Art in 2006. He has over 12+ years experience and 34+ international awards and has since worked in freelance and full-time capacities for several renowned studios/agencies in the UK and Europe including Marque Creative, Coast Design, Studio Astrid Stavro (Atlas), Design Studio, CCRZ, Jack Morton Worldwide, Anomaly, Fitch and more.

In addition to commercial and studio work, Pete has exhibited worldwide and is actively involved in many personal and self initiated projects. In 2011 he was one of the 50 winners to receive the prestigious Art Directors Club of New York Young Gun award.

He also holds an awarded membership with D&ADGraphis and The One Club for Creativity. He has been a jury member for design competitions such as the Young Guns in New York and most recently The One Club for Creativity (Denver, Colorado chapter) and appeared as a special guest judge/speaker for drinks brand Sailor Jerry. Pete has also been a guest lecturer at Parsons New School of Design in New York. His work has been recognised by many leading international publications, online sources and awarding bodies such as ADC, Creative Review (The Annual), Communication Arts, Design Week, D&AD, Cannes Lions and Graphis.


Alfio Mazzei

Alfio Mazzei was born in Roma in January 1977. He grew up in a small town in the south of Switzerland and graduated in visual communication from SUPSI Art School of Lugano in 2002.

He has gone on to work in Italy, Holland, Spain and Switzerland, where he ran his own independent studio and collaborated with other renowned Swiss design studios such as CCRZ, where Alfio first met Pete. Alfio is multilingual in English, Italian and Spanish.

His work has been recognised by many leading international publications and online sources. His typeface designs have also been awarded by Red Dot and most recently Graphis.
